We all have a mean girl in our heads that tell us we don’t know what we are talking about or that we don’t have the right to teach others or charge what we do. Or worse, we might be dismissing our success and achievements as luck, magic or divine intervention.

You, my friend, may have impostor syndrome!

Here’s some key points about Impostor Syndrome:

  • It’s a real thing! Impostor Syndrome was identified by clinical psychologists Dr. Pauline R. Clance and Suzanne A. Imes in 1978.

  • Generally impacts most on high-achievers and women.

  • May be manifesting as not charging enough, shying away from potential clients, feeling paralysed to make decisions, feeling like a fraud, or feeling unhappy and dissatisfied despite your success.

In this episode we will walk through what Imposter Syndrome might look like for you, why you might be experiencing these feelings of being a fraud and the seven steps I actually took to combat imposter syndrome.
