Q. Why should you work with me?
I am a one-stop-shop for all of your business visual communication needs. You don’t need to worry about finding a designer and developer – I can do both for you while developing a strong brand identity.
Q. How long does it take to complete a project?
Depending on the project, it may take anywhere from one week or more to complete. I will give you an estimate of scheduling before you pay your deposit to ensure timeframes are suitable and if you agree, you will be added to my work queue. Once your spot in my work queue comes up, I will contact you and begin working on your project!
Q. What if I dont like it when its finished?
We will be working closely together throughout the process. You will be given an initial round of designs and then you will have the opportunity to provide feedback for a further two rounds of changes. This will ensure that you love the finished product. If you do however want to make changes after I have delivered the final product, I am happy to make changes at an additional fee per hour.
Q. Why don’t you have prices on your website?
I don’t display prices on my website because no two projects are the same, so no two prices should be the same. Each package and price is tailored to your individual needs and to ensure you are not paying for things you don’t want, prices are quoted for each unique project.
Q. What is included in a branding package?
Branding packages are designed to suit your needs but they can include mood boards, stylesheets, web design, blog design, logos, patterns, business cards, thank you cards, stamp design, copywriting, media kits, brochures and marketing strategy.
Q. How long will a branding package take?
Anywhere from a month to six months depending on your requirements, our communication and scheduling.
Q. Can I provide you with an exact design to reproduce?
Yes I am happy for you to provide designs that you love but I will not reproduce someone else’s work. I do encourage drawing inspiration from other designs but all my work will be original and unique to your brand.
Q. Will I be able to update content myself?
Yes you will! Upon final delivery, I will provide you with a PDF guide that will cover a range of topics including how to update content on the website and how to post blog posts if you have this functionality.
Q. Do you offer a maintenance service?
I will happily provide occasional maintenance on your website. This would include things such as updating images and content. This is charged per hour, please contact me for rates. I will not update your blog/news section for you though – I provide a PDF guide on how to do this yourself.
Q. Do I need to provide my own imagery for the website?
Yes, you will need to provide any images that you would like on your website. I will need hi-res images that are large size to allow for options when designing. Please ensure that you have permission from the original owner to use any images that you supply.
Q. Will you host my website?
No, I do not offer a hosting service at this point. You will need to purchase your hosting and provide me with the login and FTP details. I recommend JustHost.com. I have been using them for years and they are low priced for unlimited space and and are highly reliable.
Q. What platforms do you work with?
I currently design and develop for self-hosted WordPress sites on the Genesis framework. Genesis is a highly powerful, extremely flexible framework that is mobile responsive and which allows for a huge range of functionality.
Q. Can you set up my hosting for me?
I can assist and offer advice, however coordinating hosting is your responsibility and the any technical difficulties are outside of my control.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
I will accept bank transfer and Paypal as payment for services rendered.
Q. How does payment work?
You will be required to pay a 50% deposit after approving the design brief and before I begin work. The final 50% is required to be paid after approving the final designs before I deliver the final product.
Q. Do you accept sponsors?
Absolutely! Please contact me to discuss sponsorship.

Q. Will you endorse my product?
I would be happy to consider your product but I reserve the right to decline. I will only endorse and promote products I believe in, however I am willing to consider products from a range of categories.
PREMADE THEME QUESTIONS
Q. My internal pages are showing up blank! Has the pre-made theme broken my website?
No, not at all! This is easily combatted! If you have WooCommerce installed but chose a manual setup, you will need to navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display and set the shop page to the page that will display your products. This will enable page content for the rest of your site.
Q. Why isn’t my WooCommerce working?
If you are using one of our themes, you will need a plugin called Genesis Connect for WooCommerce. This plugin (which can be installed for free Plugins > Add New) allows you to seamlessly integrate WooCommerce with the Genesis Framework and Genesis child themes.
